The iconic 24-arched Victorian viaduct on the scenic Settle–Carlisle Railway is one of the most photographed landmarks in the Yorkshire Dales, with regular steam and heritage services attracting rail enthusiasts and walkers alike.

Three Peak Challenge

 

A circular route of 24 miles and 1,585 metres of ascent takes on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. The challenge is usually completed in under 12 hours, and includes some breathtaking views of the stunning Yorkshire dales.
